Our analysts follow literally thousands of stocks on a daily basis. We tend to avoid small cap stocks and concentrate on those stocks we feel have potential—whether that price potential is going up or down. On average, you will find we have around 10-15 stocks at a time in our portfolio—and we follow those stocks very carefully. We look for unusual sources of information, we look carefully at the management of the companies, we watch the insider trading activity, but the one thing we do not do is put too much credence in the recommendations of the typical Wall Street investment banking firms. All too often the “average investor” gets left holding the bag while the big boys prosper. We have no relationships with any public companies that might “color” our opinions so we have no incentive other than to provide the best possible advice we are aware of to benefit our investors. We’ll keep you posted on a regular basis with the rationale behind our choices, the targets we are looking at, as well as the buy/sell/hold recommendations for stocks based on our specific criteria when we feel the timing is right. We’re patient and you should be too. You’ll receive your Daily Stock Update email sometime after the close of the market and definitely prior to the opening of the next market day. If for some reason you have not received your Daily Stock Update, it’s always available in the Members Area of the website. We follow stocks in this portfolio that have the potential for outsized gains but we urge additional scrutiny and research as these stocks can also have outsized losses. You’ll get our analyst thoughts about the speculation, street rumors, and other items of significance that can help give that extra edge in making the right choices. Our analysts do a very efficient job of “listening” to what other professional traders and market professionals are saying, and then we “quietly” go about our business. We’re low key and we plan to keep it that way. Generally, we have around 10 stocks at any given time in the Hot Pick Alert portfolio.
